Placements24 is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead all accounting operations in Pretoria with a hybrid work option. You will drive financial reporting, policies, and controls, ensuring IFRS compliance and robust budgeting processes.

The role requires a CA(SA) or CIMA, 8+ years in accounting (3+ in supervision), and strong leadership to guide the finance team. Relocation may be considered for the right candidate.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CA(SA) or CIMA is mandatory.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience; at least 3 years in a supervisory/management role.
• Extensive knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all accounting operations including AP/AR, GL, payroll and financial reporting.
• Develop and implement accounting policies for compliance and efficiency.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes with timely financial statements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage the company's budgets and forecasts; monitor performance vs. plan.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and tax regulations; support audits.
