The role requires a CA(SA) or equivalent, a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with 3+ in management, ERP proficiency (SAP/Oracle) and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 3+ in supervisory or managerial roles.
• CA(SA) or equivalent mandatory.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and SA tax understanding.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, GL and payroll.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements per IFRS.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Manage treasury functions: cash flow management and banking relations.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team to achieve high performance.
• Coordinate with external auditors and oversee annual audits.
• Ensure compliance with local, regional and national financial regulations and tax.
• Develop and implement financial policies for efficiency and control.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions by senior management.
