Placements24 is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead commercial development projects around Klerksdorp, North West. You will plan, coordinate and control projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to high quality standards.

The role requires a tertiary qualification in Construction Management or Civil Engineering and 7+ years of experience, with strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of proven experience as a Construction Project Manager on commercial properties.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation for construction projects.
• Manage project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient delivery.
• Ensure adherence to timelines, quality specifications, and safety regulations.
• Control costs, manage variations, and approve payments to contractors.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
• Identify risks and develop contingency plans.
