Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Senior Retail Sales Associate for its flagship Midrand store. You will lead customer engagements, propel sales, and mentor junior staff while maintaining high standards of service and store presentation.

You should have at least three years in retail, a strong product knowledge base, and proven ability to meet targets. This role requires flexibility for weekends and holidays and a commitment to working as part of a dynamic team in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a similar retail sales role, customer-facing.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong product knowledge and retail interest.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Proficient with POS systems and basic computer apps.
• Flexible retail schedule, weekends and holidays for Midrand location.
• Legally eligible to work in South Africa.
• Experience with inventory management and visual merchandising is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand needs and recommend products.
• Drive sales and promotional offers to meet targets.
• Maintain knowledge of products, features, benefits, and stock.
• Assist with inventory, stock receiving, merchandising, and store organization.
• Handle inquiries, issues, and returns with first-contact resolution.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Create an appealing store environment through visual merchandising.
• Collaborate with management to meet store objectives.
• Mentor new sales associates with product knowledge.
• Uphold company policies, security, and health and safety standards.
