Placements24 is hiring a Retail Customer Service Specialist for our Paarl store. You will be the primary contact for customers, handling inquiries, processing returns, and guiding shoppers through their journey with a focus on service excellence.

The role supports a hybrid work arrangement and requires strong communication, product knowledge, and CRM/POS proficiency to ensure a smooth, positive experience for every customer.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, preferably within a retail environment.
• Excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable customer service in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Assist customers with product inquiries, order placement, and general information.
• Process customer transactions, including sales, returns, exchanges, and warranty claims accurately.
• Resolve customer complaints and issues effectively and efficiently, escalating when necessary.
