Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in real estate asset or portfolio management.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of property management, leasing and market analysis.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client, a reputable real estate investment firm with a growing portfolio, is looking for an experienced Real Estate Portfolio Manager to join their team in Centurion, Gauteng, ZA. This is a hybrid role, requiring a blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties. This includes developing and implementing strategic asset management plans, maximizing property value, and ensuring strong financial performance. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a comprehensive understanding of property management best practices, and a proven ability to manage client relationships effectively. You will be a key player in driving profitability and long-term value for our client's assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic asset management plans for each property within the portfolio to maximize returns and minimize risk.
• Monitor financial performance of the portfolio, including leasing, operating expenses, and capital expenditures.
• Conduct regular property inspections and market analyses to identify opportunities for value enhancement.
• Oversee property operations, including tenant relations, lease administration, and vendor management.
• Prepare comprehensive portfolio performance reports, including financial statements, market updates, and strategic recommendations.
• Manage relationships with property owners, tenants, brokers, and service providers.
• Identify and execute capital improvement projects to maintain and enhance property value.
• Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and legislative changes affecting the real estate industry.
• Collaborate with the acquisitions and finance teams on new investment opportunities and portfolio strategies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in real estate asset or portfolio management. Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing a real estate portfolio. Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. In-depth knowledge of property management, leasing, and market analysis. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in real estate management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment. Experience in Centurion, Gauteng, ZA or surrounding areas is preferred.
