Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a Process Engineer to join our Centurion team. You will analyze current manufacturing processes, design and implement new production processes, and develop comprehensive process documentation to drive efficiency and reduce waste.
Ideal candidates have a 3-5 year background in process engineering within manufacturing, with strong SPC knowledge and Lean Six Sigma training. Hybrid work arrangements and ongoing professional development are available.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, industrial or mechanical engineering required.
- 3-5 years of experience in process engineering in manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of process optimization, SPC, and Lean Six Sigma.
- CAD or process simulation software proficiency is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and improvements.
- Design and implement new or modified production processes to boost productivity and cut waste.
- Develop and maintain process docs, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Oversee pilot runs and scale-up for successful production implementation.
- Stay updated on new tech and best practices in process engineering.
