Placements24 is seeking a Process Engineer to join our Centurion team. You will analyze current manufacturing processes, design and implement new production processes, and develop comprehensive process documentation to drive efficiency and reduce waste.

Ideal candidates have a 3-5 year background in process engineering within manufacturing, with strong SPC knowledge and Lean Six Sigma training. Hybrid work arrangements and ongoing professional development are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, industrial or mechanical engineering required.
• 3-5 years of experience in process engineering in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of process optimization, SPC, and Lean Six Sigma.
• CAD or process simulation software proficiency is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and improvements.
• Design and implement new or modified production processes to boost productivity and cut waste.
• Develop and maintain process docs, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and innovative Process Engineer to join their team in Centurion . This role is critical for enhancing and optimizing the manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality output. You will work closely with production, engineering, and R&D teams to analyze existing workflows, identify areas for improvement, and implement new technologies or methodologies. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement new production processes or modify existing ones to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Develop and maintain process documentation , including flowcharts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement root cause analysis .
• Oversee pilot runs and scale-up of new processes, ensuring successful implementation in the production environment.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and industry best practices in process engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong understanding of process optimization techniques, statistical process control (SPC), and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and CAD tools is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills , and attention to detail.
• Strong project management and communication abilities.
