Placements24 is seeking a Logistics and Supply Chain Director in Klerksdorp, North West, South Africa. The role combines on-site leadership with remote work flexibility to optimize procurement through delivery of finished products.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in supply chain management and 10+ years in leadership roles within industrial manufacturing, with proven global sourcing, transportation, warehousing, and inventory control expertise.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 10+ years progressive leadership in logistics and supply chain, preferably in industrial manufacturing.
• Strong expertise in global sourcing, transportation, warehousing, and inventory control.
• Proven ability to implement strategic supply chain initiatives and manage budgets/P&L.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute strategies for logistics, warehousing, inventory, and transportation.
• Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals toward high performance.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Implement advanced inventory management to optimize stock and reduce costs.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with transportation, safety, and trade laws.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, sales, and finance to align goals.
• Leverage technology to improve supply chain visibility and efficiency.
• Develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions and ensure continuity.
