Placements24 is recruiting a Logistics & Distribution Manager for our client in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. You will oversee the complete supply chain—from warehousing to delivery—balancing remote strategy with on-site leadership. A track record of optimizing networks, reducing costs, and improving service levels is essential.

You will lead a team, manage budgets/P&L, and drive best practices using WMS/TMS. A mix of strategic planning and hands-on oversight is required in a hybrid setting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years in logistics/supply chain with 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Experience in warehousing, transportation and inventory control.
• Strong knowledge of WMS and TMS systems.
• Ability to develop strategic plans, drive cost savings, improve efficiency.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Data-driven decision making and budgeting experience.
• Hybrid work environment; familiarity with international trade is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement logistics and distribution strategies to meet objectives.
• Oversee warehousing, inventory management, and transportation operations.
• Manage relationships with 3PLs, carriers and suppliers.
• Optimize processes to reduce costs and improve delivery performance.
• Set and monitor KPIs; take corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with transportation, safety and environmental regs.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing logistics team.
• Manage budgets and P&L for logistics operations.
• Leverage WMS/TMS tech for visibility and efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement within logistics and distribution.
