Placements24 seeks a Senior Logistics and Supply Chain Director to lead our client's operations in Klerksdorp, North West. The role requires a strategic thinker who can optimize end-to-end supply chains, manage inventory, and ensure seamless flow of goods.

You will drive efficiency, negotiate with suppliers, implement SCM technologies, and mentor a high-performing team in a hybrid work environment. A strong background in manufacturing or distribution and a proven track record in cost reduction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM/Logistics or related field; master's preferred.
• 8+ years in logistics and supply chain with 4+ years in a director role.
• End-to-end supply chain experience including inventory, warehousing and transport.
• Proven leadership, negotiation, and cost-reduction initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated logistics and supply chain strategies.
• Oversee procurement, inventory, warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
• Lead optimization of inventory levels and service metrics.
• Negotiate with suppliers and logistics providers for favorable terms.
• Implement SCM technologies and ERP systems to improve visibility.
• Manage the supply chain budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply chain professionals.
• Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, and finance to ensure seamless operations.
