Placements24 is seeking a strategic Supply Chain and Logistics Director in Centurion, Gauteng. You will lead end-to-end supply chain functions, from procurement to distribution, across a global logistics footprint while driving cost efficiencies and service improvements.

You will shape and implement innovative supply chain strategies, mentor a high-performing team, and collaborate with sales, manufacturing, and finance to ensure seamless flow of goods and information.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in SCM, logistics, or related field.
• 10+ years in supply chain and logistics with significant director-level experience.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing complex strategies with cost savings.
• Extensive international logistics, warehousing, and inventory control experience.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing third-party logistics providers.
• Expertise in supply chain software and APS.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Hybrid work model with regular presence at Centurion, Gauteng office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy for Centurion and region.
• Oversee procurement, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
• Optimize operations to reduce costs and improve service levels.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and partners.
• Implement advanced supply chain technologies for forecasting, planning, and execution.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team in supply chain and logistics.
• Monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with trade regulations and safety standards.
• Drive continuous improvement and collaborate with sales, manufacturing, and finance.
