The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7+ years in logistics, including 3+ years in management, with proficiency in TMS, WMS, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 7+ years in logistics and supply chain, with at least 3 years in management.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale logistics operations and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of transportation modes, warehousing, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic logistics plans to enhance efficiency and reduce costs across the supply chain.
• Oversee daily logistics operations, including transportation management, warehousing, and inventory control.
• Manage relationships with 3PLs and carriers.
• Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals to drive performance and continuous improvement.
• Monitor KPIs related to on-time delivery, transportation costs, and inventory accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Leverage technology solutions to optimize logistics processes.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales and customer service to ensure seamless supply chain integration.
• Manage logistics budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational enhancements.
• Balance remote strategic planning with on-site operational oversight in Midrand.
