Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to lead Operations Efficiency initiatives in Mahikeng, North West. The role combines on-site analysis with remote strategic planning in a Hybrid work arrangement, aiming to drive productivity and reduce costs.

The successful candidate will apply Lean/Six Sigma to optimize processes, manage cross-functional teams, and deliver measurable improvements across manufacturing operations.

Formación

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 7+ years progressive experience in industrial engineering, with a track record leading operations efficiency projects in manufacturing.
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), and other CI methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and advanced data analysis techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing at all levels.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the identification, analysis, and implementation of process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive performance gains.
• Develop and manage operational efficiency projects from conception to completion, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of workflows, material handling, and production scheduling to optimize resource utilization.
• Establish and track KPIs related to operational output, cost, quality, and safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Develop and deliver training programs on lean principles and efficiency best practices.
• Oversee implementation of new technologies and equipment, focusing on impact on efficiency.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on progress, outcomes, recommendations.
• Ensure improvements align with company goals and regulatory requirements.
