Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a reliable IT Helpdesk Technician to join our Randburg-based team in a hybrid role. You will provide first- and second-level support, troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, and ensure smooth IT operations across the organization.

You will manage user accounts, perform system updates and patch management, document solutions, and contribute to user guides. The role offers opportunities for training and career growth within a collaborative IT department.

Qualifications

• Experience as an IT helpdesk technician or similar role.
• Strong proficiency with Windows OS and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and ability to interact with users at all technical levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely technical support to end-users via phone, email, or ticketing system.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network components.
• Diagnose hardware, software, and network issues and resolve them.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Assist with system updates, upgrades, and patch management.
• Document IT procedures, solutions, and create user guides.
