Job summary

Placements24 in Centurion, Gauteng, is hiring a versatile HR Generalist to support our HR function across recruitment, employee relations, performance management and policy implementation. The role is hybrid, with regular office presence in Centurion.

You will manage end-to-end recruitment, administer performance cycles, maintain HRIS records, and advise line managers on HR issues while ensuring South African labour law compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Industrial Psychology, or related discipline.
• 4–6 years in a broad HR Generalist role with recruitment, ER, and perf. management.
• Strong knowledge of SA labour law and HR administration.
• Proficient with HRIS and MS Office; excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment from sourcing to onboarding.
• Oversee employee relations and provide guidance on workplace issues.
• Administer performance management cycles with timely feedback.
• Develop and communicate HR policies for consistency and compliance.
• Maintain HRIS records and support compensation and benefits administration.
• Foster employee engagement and support line managers on HR matters.
• Ensure compliance with SA labour laws and regulations.
• Assist in HR training development and delivery.
