Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth in Mahikeng, North West. You will identify new market opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, and expand the client base, leading BD and sales efforts with senior stakeholders.

The role demands a proactive, results-driven leader with 5+ years in BD or sales, strong fintech knowledge, and a track record of revenue growth. A hybrid work model and industry exposure are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (MBA a plus).
• Minimum 5 years in business development, sales or strategic partnerships.
• Proven track record in growth and revenue expansion.
• Strong understanding of fintech landscape and trends.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience building senior-level partnerships and networks.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic fintech partnerships.
• Develop and execute strategic BD plans to hit revenue targets.
• Lead sales initiatives from lead generation to closing deals.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to spot trends.
• Deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospects.
• Collaborate with product and marketing to align BD with company strategy.
• Track sales pipeline and KPIs, reporting to leadership.
• Represent the company at industry events and networks.
• Mentor junior BD team members.
