Placements24 is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth in the financial markets sector from its Kimberley-based position. You will identify opportunities, nurture key client relationships, and collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to execute strategic plans.

The role requires 6+ years in BD/sales within financial services or fintech, strong negotiation, and deep market knowledge. Hybrid SA work setup with travel to meet clients and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance/Marketing or related field.
• MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within financial services or financial technology.
• Proven track record of identifying and closing new business deals.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, trading systems, and financial software solutions.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders in financial institutions.
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in CRM software and sales enablement tools.
• Ability to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
