Job summary

Lodgistics Professional Hospitality Solutions is seeking a Finance Officer in Rustenburg, North West, with a hybrid work arrangement. You will manage day-to-day financial operations, prepare reports, and support cost-control initiatives while collaborating with operational teams.

Candidates based near Rustenburg are preferred and must travel to site as required. Ideal candidates have a finance or accounting qualification with at least 3 years in a similar role, strong Excel skills, and knowledge

Qualifications

• Finance, Accounting or related field qualification or relevant bookkeeping experience.
• At least 3 years' experience in a similar finance role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel; hospitality experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and cash flow forecasts.
• Manage reconciliations, journal entries, expense allocations, debtors and creditors.
• Monitor budgets, analyse variances and support cost-control initiatives.
• Assist with VAT calculations, statutory compliance and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate audit requirements and liaise with external auditors.
• Oversee weekly payment processes and ensure accurate, timely authorisation.
• Verify payroll figures and assist with cost of sales and payroll reconciliations.
• Collaborate with operational teams, participate in stock counts and maintain internal financial controls.
