Qualifications

• Matric certificate or equivalent; pursuing a qualification in Supply Chain or Business is advantageous.
• 0-2 years of experience in an administrative or purchasing support role.
• Basic understanding of procurement principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the processing of purchase requisitions and the creation of purchase orders.
• Communicate with suppliers to follow up on order status and delivery schedules.
• Maintain organized procurement files and update vendor databases.
• Support the procurement team in gathering quotes and comparing supplier pricing.
• Help resolve minor discrepancies in invoices and purchase orders.
• Contribute to departmental administrative tasks as needed.
