Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Electrical Engineer in Tembisa to design, develop, and implement electrical systems for industrial and commercial projects. You will work with a team from concept through construction, balancing technical excellence with practical delivery.

The role blends remote and on-site work, offering flexibility while ensuring project oversight and collaboration with engineers and technicians.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
2-5 years of experience in electrical design and project engineering.
Familiarity with PLC programming and industrial automation systems is a plus.
Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical or similar.
Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed electrical designs, schematics, and specifications for various projects.
Perform calculations and analyses for power distribution, control systems, and component selection.
Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.
Collaborate with project managers and clients to define project requirements and scope.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions to ensure system functionality and safety.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
