Placements24 is seeking a Lead Electrical Systems Integrator in Tembisa, Gauteng to spearhead industrial automation projects. You will design, implement, and optimize complex electrical and control systems, integrating PLCs, SCADA, and HMIs for large-scale applications.

The ideal candidate has a B.Eng or M.Eng in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of experience, strong leadership, and a track record delivering complex integration from concept to completion. Pr.Eng registration is advantageous.

Qualifications

B.Eng or M.Eng in Electrical Engineering or related field.
≥8 years of experience in electrical systems integration or industrial automation.
Experience with Siemens and Rockwell PLC programming, SCADA, and HMI development.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, and implementation of integrated electrical and control systems for industrial clients.
Oversee selection and integration of PLCs, SCADA, HMIs.
Develop system architecture and network designs for robustness and scalability.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
Collaborate with clients to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Conduct system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Develop and maintain project documentation.
