The ideal candidate has 2-3 years in logistics, familiarity with TMS and fleet management software, and strong Excel and communication skills for drivers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Logistics is an advantage.
• 2-3 years in logistics coordination or fleet management.
• Familiar with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and fleet management software.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transportation activities, including scheduling deliveries and managing routes.
• Monitor shipment progress and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Manage the company's vehicle fleet, including maintenance scheduling, repairs, and insurance.
• Ensure all vehicles comply with safety regulations and licensing requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of fleet usage, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Liaise with drivers to provide instructions, support, and address any issues.
• Assist in negotiating contracts with external transport providers when necessary.
• Optimize delivery routes to improve efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
• Process transportation-related documentation and invoices.
• Support the wider logistics and warehousing team with operational tasks as needed.
