Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics coordination or fleet management.
• Strong understanding of fleet maintenance practices and vehicle management systems.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage drivers and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the Centurion and wider Gauteng road network is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily fleet operations, including scheduling drivers and assigning routes.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and arrange for necessary servicing and repairs.
• Track fleet performance, fuel consumption, and driver behavior to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation laws, permits, and licensing requirements.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies for vehicle maintenance.
• Liaise with drivers, management, and external service providers to resolve logistical issues.
