Qualifications
- Admitted Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience.
- Experience drafting pleadings and appearing in court.
- Strong understanding of SA court rules and procedures.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Proficient with legal research platforms and case management software.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of civil litigation files, including case strategy and preparation.
- Conduct thorough legal research, analysis, and prepare detailed legal opinions.
- Draft pleadings, applications, notices, and other court documents.
- Represent clients in all South African courts and tribunals.
- Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.
- Liaise effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.
