Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a driven Litigation Associate for their Benoni practice. The role is office-based and covers all stages of civil litigation from filing to resolution. You will draft pleadings, conduct discovery, and appear in court to represent clients effectively.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of litigation experience, strong research and writing skills, and excellent advocacy and negotiation abilities, capable of handling multiple cases under pressure in a dynamic firm.

Qualifications

• Admitted attorney with at least 4 years in litigation.
• Solid understanding of civil procedure and court appearances.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing abilities.
• Excellent advocacy and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of litigation matters with deadlines.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
• Conduct discovery and depositions.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda.
• Liaise with clients, witnesses, opposing counsel, and court officials.
