The role involves assisting in case preparation, legal research, drafting pleadings, and attending hearings, mediations, and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with a clean disciplinary record.
• Completion of articles with exposure to litigation.
• Strong understanding of civil procedure and courtroom etiquette.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and under supervision.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior lawyers in managing litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and prepare legal memoranda on complex issues.
• Draft pleadings, notices, applications, and other court documents accurately and efficiently.
• Support discovery processes, including document review and witness preparation.
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and client meetings as part of the legal team.
