Srg Recruitment (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function across a network of Distribution Centres in Durban. This senior, hands-on role requires partnering with DC leadership to align people priorities with business objectives and to drive workforce planning, employee relations, and compliance.

You will oversee HR operations, performance management, talent development and change initiatives across multiple sites, ensuring robust reporting and engagement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant HR field.
• Minimum 8 years' progressive HR experience, with management-level exposure.
• Experience leading HR in multi-site, operational environments (FMCG, manufacturing, logistics, distribution).
• Strong grounding in South African labour legislation and CCMA processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR leadership across the DC network and partner with DC leadership to align people priorities with business objectives.
• Lead workforce planning, resourcing, and TES labour management.
• Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, and CCMA processes.
• Ensure compliance with LRA, BCEA, EEA, COIDA, SDA, and UIF legislation.
• Drive performance management, talent development and succession planning.
• Champion culture, engagement and employee experience initiatives.
• Oversee HR operations, systems, reporting and process improvements.
• Lead HR projects and change management initiatives.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including CCMA and bargaining councils.

Our client, a leading multi-site distribution and supply chain operation, is seeking to appoint an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function across its Distribution Centre network. This is a senior, hands-on HR leadership role for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site operational environment and wants to make a real impact on people strategy, compliance and workforce planning.
Providing strategic and operational HR leadership across multiple Distribution Centres, partnering closely with DC leadership to align people priorities with business objectives. You'll lead an HR team and take ownership of everything from workforce planning and employee relations to compliance, talent management and HR reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide HR leadership and business partnership across the DC network
• Lead workforce planning, resourcing and TES labour management
• Manage employee relations, disciplinary and CCMA matters
• Ensure compliance with the LRA, BCEA, EEA, COIDA, SDA and UIF legislation
• Drive performance management, talent development and succession planning
• Champion culture, engagement and employee experience initiatives
• Oversee HR operations, systems, reporting and process improvement
• Lead HR projects and change management initiatives
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the CCMA, bargaining councils and benefit providers

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations or related field (postgraduate qualification advantageous)
• Minimum 8 years' progressive HR experience, with management-level exposure
• Proven experience leading HR in a multi-site, operational or high-volume environment (FMCG, manufacturing, logistics, distribution or QSR preferred)
• Strong grounding in South African labour legislation, employee relations and CCMA processes
• Experience managing TES providers and labour cost/utilisation
• Confident engaging with senior operational stakeholders
• Strong MS Office skills; HRIS and reporting/dashboard exposure advantageous
• Ability to travel between sites as required
