Job summary

SRG Recruitment is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for a leading multi-site distribution and supply chain operator in Durban. You will serve as the strategic people partner to Distribution Centres, guiding workforce planning, employee relations, and analytics to influence business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations or a related field.
• 5-8 years' HR experience, including 3+ years as an HR Business Partner.
• Experience in multi-site operational environments (Distribution/Logistics/Manufacturing).
• Extensive Employee Relations and Labour Relations experience, with CCMA exposure.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Distribution Centre leadership to align HR strategy with operational objectives and provide strategic HR advice and coaching to managers.
• Drive talent management, succession planning and retention strategies for critical roles.
• Champion the performance management framework and facilitate reviews across sites.
• Manage Employee and Labour Relations, disciplinary, grievance, investigations, and CCMA representations.
• Drive employee engagement, wellness and culture across Distribution Centres.
• Collaborate with HR COE, bargaining councils and Department of Labour to ensure compliance.
• Analyse workforce data and produce dashboards to inform business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with labour legislation and HR governance standards.
