• Grade12 or NQF 4 Equivalent.
• Diploma/Degree/Postgraduate qualification in HR/HRD or related field is essential.
• Mine Overseer certificate is essential.
• 5 years relevant training experience in Management (HR/HRD) with mining operations.

Responsibilities

• Aligns HRD with organizational strategic objectives and Business Plan imperatives.
• Ensures delivery of quality training, maintains HRD accreditation and certification.
• Ensures execution of the business plan and SLP targets as per MPRDA requirements.
• Analyzes and assesses training effectiveness to determine when revisions are needed.
• Participates in safety meetings, reports hazards and implements remedial actions.

About the job Human Resources Development Manager

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To lead and manage the HRD function. Ensure the effective implementation of policies and systems aligned to the organizational strategic imperatives and relevant legal requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade12 or NQF 4 Equivalent
• Diploma/Degree/Postgraduate qualification in HR/HRD or related field is essential
• Mine Overseer certificate is essential
• 5 years relevant training experience in Management (HR/HRD) with mining operations

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Aligns HRD with the organizational strategic objectives to ensure that the Business Plan imperatives are achieved.
• Ensures the delivery of quality and effective training in so doing maintain HRD accreditation and certification.
• Ensures Impala's' business plan imperatives are carried out as per plan and SLP targets set out in Section 2 of the MPRDA.
• Analyses and assesses training effectiveness to determine when revision and enhancements of processes should occur.
• Adheres to safety regulations and mine standards, procedures and practices and reports non-compliance.
• Participates in regular safety meetings and makes recommendations to ensure overall safety.
• Performs regular inspections in area of work and report hazards to ensure environment is safety and hazard free and recommends remedial action where necessary.
