About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced HSE Manager to lead their Health, Safety, and Environment initiatives in Kimberley. This senior role is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive HSE programs to ensure a safe and compliant working environment. You will champion a strong safety culture, conduct risk assessments, and drive continuous improvement in HSE performance across all operations. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement company-wide HSE policies , procedures, and management systems.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
• Manage and investigate HSE incidents, developing corrective actions and lessons learned.
• Oversee risk assessments, hazard identification, and the implementation of control measures.
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs to employees at all levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in HSE management , preferably within the oil and gas industry.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant HSE legislation, standards, and best practices.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing HSE management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001).
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional qualifications in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are essential.
