Placements24 is seeking a proactive HSE Advisor to join a fully remote team in the Oil & Gas sector. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and monitoring HSE policies and procedures to uphold top health, safety, and environmental standards.

You will conduct risk assessments, promote a strong safety culture, and deliver training while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. This remote position offers flexibility and opportunities to advance safety performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HSE Advisor, preferably in Oil & Gas.
• In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, risk management, and safety management systems.
• Certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH are highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE management systems and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and safety audits to identify hazards.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, recommending corrective actions.
• Promote safety awareness and deliver HSE training to employees and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with national and international HSE legislation and standards.
• Maintain HSE records and prepare reports on safety performance metrics.
