Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented HR Specialist focused on Compliance and Employee Relations to ensure adherence to South African labour laws from the Richards Bay site. You will handle grievances, investigations, and advisory support across the HR function.

With at least 5 years in HR, you will coach managers, implement compliant practices, and maintain records while driving continuous improvement in policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' HR experience with emphasis on employee relations and compliance.
• Experience in Richards Bay industrial sector is a strong asset.
• In-depth knowledge of SA labour law (BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA) and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to conduct workplace investigations and manage complex employee relations issues.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with a significant focus on employee relations and HR compliance.
• Practical experience working within the Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal industrial sector is a strong asset.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labor law (BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA) and HR best practices.
