Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented HR Policy and Compliance Officer to join their Sandton team. This role ensures adherence to South African labour laws, develops and updates HR policies, and manages compliance initiatives, mitigating risk and promoting ethical practices.

The ideal candidate has a law or HR-related degree, at least six years of HR compliance experience, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Law degree or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in HR compliance, policy development, or labour law.
• In-depth knowledge of South African Labour Relations Act, BCEA, and EEA.
• Proven experience in developing HR policies and conducting compliance audits.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex legal documents into practical HR guidelines.
