Placements24 in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, seeks an HR Officer to support payroll, records, recruitment, onboarding and policy compliance. This on-site role requires strong admin skills and knowledge of SA labour law.

You will maintain HRIS data, assist with disciplinary processes, coordinate training, manage leave, and contribute to HR projects in an industrial environment. A National Diploma or Degree in HR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in HR management or related field.
• 2–3 years HR officer or HR admin experience.
• Payroll administration experience.
• Knowledge of SA labour laws.
• Proficiency with HRIS and MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Administer payroll and ensure accuracy in calculations.
• Maintain employee records and up-to-date HRIS.
• Assist with recruitment and candidate coordination.
• Onboard new employees and conduct orientation sessions.
• Provide guidance on HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with SA labour legislation and company policies.
• Assist with disciplinary hearings and grievance procedures.
• Coordinate training and development initiatives.
• Maintain leave registers and accurate record-keeping.
• Support HR projects and initiatives as required.
