Job summary

HotelJobs is seeking a hands-on HR & Payroll Generalist for an on-site role in Stellenbosch within a prestigious hospitality environment. You will manage full payroll cycles, recruitment, employee relations and HR administration across the estate, ensuring compliance with SA laws and accurate reporting.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience with payroll responsibility, strong Excel skills and familiarity with SAGE 300 or Pastel Evolution.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years HR Generalist experience with payroll responsibility.
• Proven experience managing a full payroll cycle.
• Strong knowledge of SA labour legislation, BCEA, PAYE, UIF & COIDA.
• Excellent Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle payroll administration – fortnightly & monthly.
• Recruitment, selection & onboarding.
• Employee relations & performance management.
• HR administration & employee records.
• Labour legislation & statutory compliance.
• SARS, UIF, COIDA & payroll submissions.
