Job summary

Exceed Human Resource Consultants in Stellenbosch seeks an experienced HR/Payroll Consultant to manage payroll and end-to-end HR processes. You will handle recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and payroll submissions while ensuring compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in HR, Industrial Psychology, Business Management, or related field.
• Payroll qualification or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years' generalist HR with payroll responsibility.
• Sound knowledge of SA labour legislation like BCEA, PAYE, UIF, and COIDA.
• Strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fortnightly and monthly payroll, including overtime, leave, terminations, and promotions.
• Ensure accurate payroll processing, reconciliations, reporting, and SARS/UIF/COIDA submissions.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process.
• Provide HR support on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary procedures.
• Maintain accurate employee records, ESS, and pension fund administration.
• Coordinate performance management, training, and wellness initiatives.
• Prepare HR and payroll reports and assist with audits and HR projects.
• Serve as a professional contact for HR and payroll matters.
