Placements24 in South Africa seeks an HR Generalist for their Tembisa team to support day-to-day HR operations. You’ll drive recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in all processes.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years’ experience, strong knowledge of HRIS and MS Office, and excellent communication and organizational skills to contribute to a collaborative and compliant workplace within a growing company.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as HR Generalist or in a similar role.
• Solid understanding of HR principles including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
• Proficiency with HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle from sourcing and screening candidates to interviewing and onboarding.
• Administer employee benefits programs and liaise with providers.
• Handle employee queries and advise on HR policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS.
• Support performance management processes and HR initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with labor legislation and company policies.
