Placements24 is seeking an HR Generalist with Talent Acquisition expertise to join our client’s team in Tembisa, Gauteng. You will own the full recruitment cycle, from drafting job descriptions to onboarding new hires, ensuring a smooth candidate experience and alignment with business needs.

On-site role requiring strong knowledge of SA labour laws, ATS/HRIS proficiency, and the ability to build relationships with hiring managers.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree or diploma in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in HR with a focus on recruitment and talent acquisition.
• Experience sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and direct sourcing.
• Solid understanding of South African labour laws related to recruitment and employment.
• Excellent interpersonal and interviewing skills; proficiency with ATS/HRIS.

About the Role

As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for the full recruitment cycle, from identifying staffing needs to the final onboarding of new employees. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proven experience in sourcing candidates using various channels (job boards, social media, networking, direct sourcing).
• Solid understanding of South African labour laws pertaining to recruitment and employment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and interviewing skills.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR Information Systems (HRIS).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
• A proactive and results-oriented approach to talent acquisition.
• Knowledge of broader HR generalist functions is an advantage.
