Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance or related field.
• 4–6 years of HR experience with a strong focus on Compensation and Benefits.
• Strong understanding of compensation principles, benchmarking, and salary structures.
• Proficiency in benefits administration (medical aid, retirement funds) and SA labour law.
• Proficient in HRIS and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, bonuses, and incentive plans.
• Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive positioning of salary and benefits.
• Develop and implement new compensation and benefits initiatives to support strategic objectives.
• Manage employee benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement funds, and other statutory and voluntary benefits.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation pertaining to compensation and benefits.
• Develop clear and concise communication materials for employees regarding compensation and benefits programs.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on compensation and benefits-related queries.
• Collaborate with payroll and finance departments to ensure accurate and timely processing.
• Participate in HR projects related to job evaluation, grading, and performance-related pay.
• Analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Manage relationships with external benefits providers and vendors.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the overall HR strategy.
