Job summary

A national supplier of quality chicken products is seeking a committed Human Resources Executive Assistant for its HR operations. This role requires a tertiary qualification in HR and 3 years' experience as an Executive Assistant. Responsibilities include managing the HR Executive's office and supporting the HR team. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the optimal functioning of the Group Executive: HR’s office and diary.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders.
  • Review and edit correspondence, reports and presentations.
  • Manage confidential information and documentation.
  • Track ongoing HR initiatives.
  • Provide ongoing assistance to the HR Team.
  • Coordinate information, compile and distribute weekly and monthly reports.
  • Maintain an effective filling system.
  • Assist with expense reporting.
  • Prepare packs for meetings.

Job description

Sovereign, a national supplier of quality chicken products to various markets with operations in five provinces, is seeking a thorough and committed individual for the position of Human Resources Executive Assistant for its HR operations in the Group Services division. The HR Executive Assistant is responsible for the functioning of the Group Executive: HR’s office and for providing administrative and support services to the HR Division. This position reports directly to the Group Executive: HR and holds the TASK Grade T09. The ideal candidate must be in possession of a tertiary qualification in Human Resources and have 3 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant at an Executive or Senior Management level. Experience as an HR Officer will be advantageous.
