Qualifications

Grade 12 is required.
2–3 years' housekeeping management experience or similar hospitality role.
Ability to coordinate and lead the housekeeping team.
Strong communication skills and self-discipline.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day housekeeping operations according to standards and senior management directions.
Carry out regular inspections of laundry, public areas and lodges.
Lead, support and develop housekeeping staff.
Brief teams at the start of each shift with duties and information.
Maintain high standards of appearance and professionalism among staff.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation in guest lodges and public areas.
Report repairs and maintenance issues to relevant departments for action.
Provide on-the-job training to develop staff capabilities.
Respond promptly and courteously to guest needs and requests.
Address guest complaints promptly and escalate as needed.
Conduct monthly linen stock takes and maintain linen stock and consumables.
Follow all company policies and report breaches.
