Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a motivated Hotel Sales Manager for a premier hotel in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. You will lead strategic sales plans, manage key accounts, and drive revenue growth with corporate clients, tour operators, and leisure travelers.

The role requires at least 5 years in hotel sales, strong negotiation and presentation skills, CRM experience, and travel as needed. A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred, with a commission-based earnings structure

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in hotel sales or related hospitality sales role.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of sales principles, market dynamics and revenue management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and occupancy goals.
• Identify and solicit new business from corporate clients, MICE, and leisure markets.
• Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts and ensure client satisfaction.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to clients and partners.
• Represent the hotel at trade shows and industry events.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop campaigns and promotional materials.
• Negotiate contracts and favorable terms for the hotel.
• Monitor performance against targets and report to senior management.
• Maintain accurate client records and sales database.
