About the Role

Our client, a well-regarded hotel in Mahikeng, North West , is seeking an ambitious and results-oriented Hotel Sales and Marketing Manager. This role is crucial for driving occupancy rates and revenue growth by developing and executing effective sales and marketing strategies. You will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, building strong relationships with corporate clients and travel agencies, and overseeing all promotional activities. The ideal candidate possesses a keen understanding of the hospitality market, exceptional sales acumen, and a creative approach to marketing. This position requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about the hospitality industry and committed to the success of the hotel. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, MICE business, and leisure travel.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel agents, and tour operators.
• Manage the hotel's online presence, including website, social media, and online travel agencies (OTAs).
• Oversee advertising, public relations, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
• Coordinate with the hotel operations team to ensure seamless service delivery for all guests acquired through sales and marketing efforts.
• Conduct market research and identify potential new segments for hotel business.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hotel sales and marketing, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and market dynamics in North West province.
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, and social media marketing.
• Experience with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and Sales & Marketing software.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
