Job summary

Propr is seeking an energetic Aparthotel Receptionist in Cape Town to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You’ll welcome guests, handle inquiries, bookings and payments, and liaise with guest experience and operations teams to ensure smooth stays.

The ideal candidate has 1.5 years in guest-facing roles, strong communication, empathy, and a proactive, team-focused mindset. A customer-first attitude and tech-savvy approach are essential.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests as they arrive and assist with check-in and check-out.
• Attend to guest questions or concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Liaise between Guest Experience, Property Managers, Operations, Concièrges and guests.
• Answer emails, messages and phone calls.
• Create bookings and process payments.
• Problem-solve with the team to maintain service excellence.

We are looking for an energetic and guest-focused Aparthotel Receptionist to join our team!

This is a hands-on role that prioritises delivering an exceptional experience to each of our Aparthotel guests. Together with your fellow Receptionists, you’ll welcome guests to our amazing Aparthotels in Cape Town, recommend unique experiences in and around the city, and ensure our guests are happy at all times.

What you’ll be doing:

• Welcome guests as they arrive and make sure they have the best possible check-in
• Make sure our guests are happy - attend to any questions or concerns raised by guests
• Liaise between Guest Experience, Property Managers, Operations, Concierges and most importantly, guests
• Answering emails, messages and phone calls
• Creating bookings and taking payments
• Problem-solving with your Team on a daily basis
