Formación

• Formal qualification related to finance, law, or human resources, or extensive managerial experience.
• Proven management track record in hotel operations and team leadership.
• Currently hold a Head of Department (HOD) position or similar senior management role.
• Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
• Solid financial management expertise.
• Excellent communication and team-building abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee hotel financial functions including budget prep, forecasting, Capex, cash flow, and board papers.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards per Tsogo Sun requirements.
• Manage human resources, including staff recruitment, development, and retention strategies.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to grow market share and guest satisfaction.
• Build and execute short- and long-term operational strategies and action plans.
• Monitor daily operations to ensure efficiency and service standards.
• Ensure guest experience aligns with brand promise and service levels.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team through effective leadership.
• Collaborate across departments to uphold hotel standards and guest service.

Duties:

• Manage the hotel’s financial functions, including budget preparation, forecasting, Capex, cash flow, statements, reports, audit requirements, policies, and Board Papers.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards in line with Tsogo Sun requirements.
• Oversee all human resources matters, developing strategies for staff recruitment, development, and retention.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to enhance market share and guest satisfaction.
• Build and execute short and long-term operational strategies and action plans.
• Monitor daily operations to ensure all areas function efficiently and service standards are consistently met.
• Guarantee that the guest experience aligns with the brand promise and expected service levels.
• Lead, motivate, and build a competent team through effective leadership and communication.
• Collaborate with teams to uphold the hotel’s standards and deliver exceptional guest service.
