Job summary

The Capital Hotels is seeking a proactive Duty Manager to oversee shift operations across Food & Beverage, Accommodation and Front of House. You will ensure guest satisfaction, resolve issues, and maintain smooth cash handling and reporting during your shift.

Ideal candidates will have Matric and a Hotel Management qualification or similar, 1–2 years supervisory experience, and a hands-on, calm problem-solving approach. Join a team that values integrity, teamwork and hands-on leadership.

• Second-in-Charge to the Front Office Manager

Responsibilities

• Take full accountability for shift performance and resolve issues proactively
• Act as liaison between Food & Beverage, Accommodation and Front of House
• Ensure cash-ups, reconciliations and variance control are completed and reported on time
• Fill in for staff as required when others are unavailable
• Maintain guest service standards and operational efficiency during the shift
