Job summary

Edgexec (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Sales Consultant based in Midrand, Gauteng, to convert corporate relationships into revenue across hospitality suites and events. You will build a pipeline, engage senior decision-makers and close deals, with emphasis on targets, margins and client experience.

You’ll develop new business, manage existing accounts and support events, requiring a strong network, negotiation skills and willingness to work after hours for events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of professional sales experience in a corporate environment.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience selling sponsorship, broadcasting and advertising products.
• Strong corporate network and SA client database.
• Knowledge of the sports/hospitality industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly revenue targets and maintain profit margins.
• Generate sales across hospitality events and suite offerings.
• Identify new business opportunities aligned with commercial focus.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting.
• Convert leads into qualified sales opportunities.
• Develop relationships with senior strategic stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Manage existing client relationships and grow entertainment spend.
• Negotiate commercial and pricing terms with clients.
• Follow up on leads and drive opportunities to close.
• Host suites and support client entertainment at events when required.
