Job summary

Headhunters is seeking an experienced operations manager for a busy hospitality venue in the Eastern Cape. The role oversees daily venue operations and a large operational team, ensuring superior customer service and a smooth guest experience.

The successful candidate will monitor staff performance, control costs, and manage stock, maintenance, security and compliance. You will also support events and partnerships while driving process improvements in collaboration with senior management.

Qualifications

• Must have strong operations management experience in the hospitality sector.
• Experience in hospitality, entertainment, retail or similar high-volume environments.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings and public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily venue operations.
• Leading and managing a large operational team.
• Ensuring exceptional customer service and experience.
• Monitoring staff performance, attendance and productivity.
• Managing stock control, costs and operational efficiency.
• Overseeing suppliers, maintenance, security and compliance.
• Supporting events, promotions and activations.
• Identifying opportunities to improve operations and grow the business.
• Working closely with senior management and departmental managers.
