Our client, a prestigious architectural and interior design firm with a specialization in the hospitality sector, is seeking a talented and creative Hospitality Design Architect to join their team in Mossel Bay, Western Cape . This role focuses on the conceptualization and design of unique and engaging hospitality spaces, including hotels, resorts, and restaurants. Key Responsibilities

Conceptualize and develop innovative architectural and interior designs for hospitality projects. Create detailed design documentation, including floor plans, elevations, renderings, and material specifications. Collaborate with clients, branding consultants, and operations teams to ensure design meets brand standards and operational needs. Work closely with engineers and consultants to integrate technical requirements into designs. Select appropriate materials, finishes, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) that align with design concepts and budgets. Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies for new hospitality developments. Present design proposals to clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating design intent. Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, accessibility standards, and local regulations in Mossel Bay . Oversee the design implementation during the construction phase, liaising with contractors.

Requirements

A professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design. A minimum of 6 years of experience, with a significant focus on hospitality design projects. Demonstrated portfolio showcasing high-quality hospitality designs. Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and rendering tools (e.g., 3ds Max, V-Ray).
